Marking his third journey back at Cisco, John brings over 26 years of deep experience in Cyber Security. He is passionately committed to the belief that technology is a vital guardian of our way of life. His career uniquely blends storytelling with technical acumen, shaped by hands-on experience across many disciplines to include technical training, TME, product development, and marketing. A native Texan, John now calls Iowa home, where he shares a productive life with his spouse and indulging in a variety of passions-from gardening to restoring a 1986 Fiat X 1/9 and a 1947 Century SeaMaid wooden Runabout. When not immersed in these projects, you'll find him playing the tuba with the Des Moines Community Band or enjoying the lively company of two determined and spoiled dogs - a Labrador and a Yorkie.
